Te Deum concert

Coronavirus Update from Te Deum

3/22/20 Update:

We have continued to monitor the news and see the growing impact the coronavirus has had on our community. It has become clear that it may be longer than we hoped before things begin to get back to “normal”.

Yesterday, Mayor Quinton Lucas issued Kansas Citians a “Stay at Home” Order as our community continues working to slow the spread of COVID-19 over the next 30 days.

With those orders and the recommendations from the Centers from Disease Control, the World Health Organization and other public health agencies, we have made the decision to cancel the rescheduled performances “Divine”. While these concert dates of May 24 and 25 fall outside of the scope of the current “Stay at Home” order, we want to make sure our Te Deum family of singers, audiences and supporters stay safe.

Again, we will be reaching out directly to our season ticket holders.

We thank you for your understanding and continued support.

3/15/20 Update:

Like all of you, we’ve been monitoring the news and learning about the coronavirus and its impact on our community. We want to make sure that our Te Deum family of singers, audiences and supporters stay safe. And we also want to be mindful of our responsibility to the community to encourage social distancing.

We are closely monitoring the recommendations from the Centers from Disease Control, the World Health Organization and other public health agencies and will continue to follow their recommendations in order to keep everyone as healthy as possible.

We have made the decision to suspend Te Deum rehearsals through the month of March. Which will also result in us postponing our upcoming “Divine” concerts until May 24 and 25. We will continue to reassess the situation as needed and update you with any changes. In the meantime, we will be reaching out directly to our season ticket holders to discuss their options.
